Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 21, 2026 · Version 2.1
This policy covers the TrayHabit iOS app ("the App"), made by Nomadix Apps LLC — the developer and, where data-protection law uses the term, the data controller for the limited processing described below.
The short version: TrayHabit has no accounts and no server of ours. Your wear history stays on your device and, if you keep sync on, in your own private iCloud — we cannot see it either way. We receive only anonymous purchase records and anonymous usage and crash statistics. Nothing is sold, shared with data brokers, or used for advertising.
Your data stays with you
Sessions, trays, schedule, goals, calendar, statistics, achievements and app settings are created and stored on your device. Reminders are scheduled locally by the App and involve no server. iOS protects this data with device encryption and app sandboxing; if you back up your iPhone, it may be included in that backup under Apple's terms.
Optional iCloud sync keeps your history current across your Apple devices through Apple's CloudKit, in the private database of your Apple Account. We have no access to it — no copy, no key, no statistics derived from its contents. You can turn sync off in the App's tray settings at any time; to remove the copy already in iCloud, use iOS Settings → your name → iCloud. iCloud itself is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy (opens in a new tab).
What we receive
Three providers process data on our behalf. None of them receives your wear history, and none is given your name, email or Apple Account.
- RevenueCat (United States) validates purchases and manages the optional TrayHabit Pro subscription: an anonymous identifier generated for your copy of the App, Apple transaction and receipt data, basic device and app information, and your IP address (used transiently to deliver the service and prevent fraud). Payments themselves are handled by Apple — we never see your card, name or billing address. Transfers to the US are covered by standard contractual clauses in RevenueCat's DPA (opens in a new tab); see also its Privacy Policy (opens in a new tab).
- TelemetryDeck (TelemetryDeck GmbH, Germany) handles product analytics: interaction signals such as "onboarding completed" or "paywall shown", basic device and app information (app version, iOS version, device model, language and region), and an identifier for your copy of the App that is hashed on your device and hashed a second time on arrival, so that neither we nor TelemetryDeck can reverse it. Timestamps are rounded to the hour, and TelemetryDeck states that it does not store the IP addresses of app signals. Processing takes place in the EU. See the TelemetryDeck Privacy Policy (opens in a new tab).
- Sentry (Functional Software, Inc., using its EU region in Frankfurt, Germany) handles crash reports and diagnostics: crash and freeze traces, errors the App caught and recovered from, basic device and app information, occasional performance measurements such as app start time, and the same anonymous identifier, so that we can tell how many people a bug affects. Sentry's optional collection of personal data is switched off — no IP address, no screenshots, no screen recording. Account metadata of our Sentry organisation is held in the United States; transfers are covered by standard contractual clauses in Sentry's DPA (opens in a new tab); see also its Privacy Policy (opens in a new tab).
All of it travels over encrypted connections (TLS) and is used only to run subscriptions and improve the App.
What we never do
- No account or registration, and no advertising identifiers — the App does not track you across other apps or websites, so it never asks for App Tracking Transparency permission;
- No access to contacts, location, photos, microphone or camera, and no HealthKit integration;
- No ads, no data brokers, and no selling or sharing of personal information — including within the meaning of the CCPA.
Deletion and your rights
Deleting the App deletes the data on your device; the iCloud copy is removed as described above. The anonymous records held by RevenueCat, TelemetryDeck and Sentry are kept only as long as needed to operate the service and meet legal obligations.
Under the EU/UK GDPR, the CCPA and similar laws you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, and object to certain processing. Because we hold nothing that identifies you, most of these rights you exercise yourself through the App and iOS; for the anonymous records above, write to info@nomadixapps.org and we will delete what is tied to your anonymous identifiers or help with any other request. We do no profiling or automated decision-making. In the EU/EEA or the UK you may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
Children
The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age where you live), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Not medical advice
TrayHabit is a self-tracking tool. Wear-time records are informational only; always follow the instructions of your orthodontist or dentist.
Changes and contact
If our data practices change, we will update this policy and its effective date, and give notice in the App before material changes take effect. Previous versions are available in the site's public history (opens in a new tab).
